I also feel I should elaborate, mods for Skyrim PSVR were never confirmed or even hinted, and nothing has been said since (also there are a number of bugs which Bethesda are taking their sweet time to get through so adding more content is very unlikely). As for FO4VR, it's generally accepted that the PSVR is just not powerful enough to run it. High end PCs struggled with it at first, so even with the Pro, the PlayStation just doesn't have the guts to run it. Plus, what goes on the Pro has to go on the older PS4 and that won't run it at all.
Okay, I'm going to try dragging this dead horse around so we can beat on it some more.Anyway, why no Fallout 4 for PSVR?What's the hold up or problem with it not running? Okay, I heard or rather read something about frame rate issues? What causes frame rate issues? Too much content, that content needs more memory. So, does the frame rate issue/s come from the PS4 itself or from the PSVR?If it comes from the PS4, what not just upgrade to a larger hard drive and utilize virtual ram from the larger hard drive? If it's the PSVR, couldn't the virtual ram be routed to and/or from the PSVR TO PREVENT FRAME RATE DROP? (If that's possible?)Sorry about the caps, it got stuck. It won't happen as the potential for mods to impact framerate means that Sony will never allow it. The OG PS4 will never, ever be able to run Fallout 4 VR.
Framerates drop into low 20s in some areas of downtown Boston. Its extremely doubtful that the Pro can run it either at 60fps & dual viewpoint VR rendering due to the weak Jaguar CPU cores.
And even if it could. If the OG PS4 cannot run it, it doesn't get released. The best we could hope for is Fallout 3 and/or Fallout New Vegas VR. (which is not going to happen).
