21: CoolBeans Says:Go Soo and Jung Kwang Ryul are carrying this drama. The lead female character was better as a little girl, vibrant and with very good acting skils. The adult version, not so much.

I will keep watching because it is early. But, this is feeling very predictable too early in a 50 episode drama. Let’s hope the Ming arrow seller rescued Tae Soo and brought him back to health. Need to see him back in this drama before too long. I really can’t take another long scene of the spoiled concubine’s daughter complainig that there is no palace milk with her rose petals in her bath or the lead hyperventilating in those high pitch gasps every time she gets excited.

Says:I do agree that the little girl who acted the part of the lead female did a great job and that she is a very good actress. I really enjoyed watching her playing her part all the way through – just wished she plays the character all the way through the drama.wishful thinking.hhhhh! The older female lead is playing her part well but there seems to be some things missing in the type of person she is when she grew older.a few examples: a very vibrant character at a young age, the way she talks when mingling with others, her expressions at all times, etc, etc. Will continue to watch the drama and hope that it remain as good, intense, and entertaining as the the past Episodes. Several good actors are in this drama and I really like it.

You’re right things are predictable and I think one reason that might have contributed to this is because they’re also bringing up a lot of what is going on in the characters’ minds i.e ‘what they’re thinking about, their next set of plans, etc, etctheir thoughts.’ It is good in a way that it could also help the viewer to follow and understand the drama better but if too much of it is revealed it could also become a spoiler. I find that this is happening in a lot of other KDramas like.someone is talking a lot to himself or herself instead of talking to/with other people.I’ll check out Five children to see if I like it. I need more dramas to watch while waiting for FITP, I wish there are more good Period Dramas airing as well. Next time if there’s a schedule clash with another major game, I hope they postpone the game and not the dramahhhhh!.

Her mum and her were in prison because there could have been a power struggle at the palace so they were imprisoned to get them out of the way. When that happened, maybe park tae soo was used as the fall back person by lord yoon and wanted him killed for supposedly treason but the queen dowager had a relationship with park tae soo and arranged pts to be imprisoned for 20 years in the jail dungeon until pts was called in again by the queen to kill china’s ambassador (minister?).

Pts succeeded in the mission but lord yoon had him killed. Maybe ok nyeo’s mom was the poisoned king’s wife or concubine who was pregnant then with ok nyeo, and she ran away but was stabbed. Fortunately treasurer ji found her and helped her give birth but she died for loss of blood. The cast listing above gave away the info that ok nyeo is of royal blood as her last name is ‘lee’, so she maybe a cousin of the current king, or some relation.

Will see.like most korean dramas, we see that the lives of the characters are so intertwined, sometimes we can guess what is going to happen next. But i don’t mind it here as i find it entertaining and not boring. 52: CoolBeans Says:A solid drama worth watching. Two kings sneaking out of the palace, meet two young girls and the two girls have no idea they are hanging out with the King. Cute story line.It is nice to see Seo Ha-Jun. I haven’t seen him since Princess Aurora, and also Choi Tae-Joon. 63: Leo Says:I didnt see the name of the King in the MAIN CAST? Nugu?. 64: scorpio23 Says:I feel that this Drama is running too slow. Now Tailors came & it is way a better Drama & rating is already way up there. Besides in Viki, the subtitle is too slow.

How many times Jung Nam Jung’s group find out Chun Doong was messing up their business and they just beat him up, the next day Chun Doong went into their place and steal things again. Can we get something smarter? I think Jin Se Yun is OK but her acting skill is a bit lacking.

I notice most of the episodes ended with her in a surprised look, it look almost the same in every episodes. OakNyeo’s biological father is current king’s father who was the last king.Also, a lot of this drama is based on history except OakNyeo’s story. Jung Nam Jung and her husband (Queen Mother’s Brother) and the Queen Mother’s horrible acts are all from the history (details are, of course, a little bit different).Thus, stories may be similar to many stories from the previous historical dramas. They do try to make stories from the history as is with some added characters and twists. 71: Rose Says:Choi Tea Joon (Sung Ji Hun) is now a participant in We Got Married Show. His first show was last Saturday. He is so cute.

Seems like a nice guy. 72: Forouz Says:This drama better to be 20 ep instead of 50 ep. It’s make it boring and if anybody saw dong yi find out that they want to make it like that, off course it’s far from dong yi. I saw dongy several times.

73: Brenda Says:I watched this drama but I have heard bits that this was based on real history back in the Joeson era and all the evil things that would happen during a kings reign. There were different stories I heard about the queen mom who along with her brother and his evil wife did some dirty deeds but all came to light in the last episode. The brother to the qeen mom and his wife were shown to have died of poisoning but I heard that they may have been beheaded or hanged. Is their any truth to this and was Oke the half sister to the King like in the drama?. 74: tigerb Says:i don’t understand it.

45 when the queen was talking to a supposedly sleeping current king, she said that when she was asked previously by her son (the current king) about poisoning the previous king, she confirmed it, including that she also arranged the death of all court maids in service to that king. In the same episode, there was the flashback of the current king, in tears, telling his mother if he had asked her to kill his brother (the previous king) so he can be enthroned as king.

This makes me understand that the previous king is the current king’s half brother who happened to be ok nyeo’s father. In this same episode, the queen dowager and the current king mentioned the death of a crown prince, a young boy who was the son of the current king (that’s why the current king had the little boy’s dice near him).

It did not mention that that crown prince was the current king’s brother. Think of this: why would the queen dowager poison the previous king if that guy was her husband and her son would eventually become king?

So i still think that ok nyeo is the current king’s half niece.it’s difficult if my presumptions are based on translations as i don’t understand the language. I still appreciate the subbers work if somehow i can be misled in understanding some parts of the story.isn’t there a disclaimer that this series is fiction partly based on historical events and people?will see how this goes. Just decided to continue watching.

I find it sad how just because the Internet gives you a sense of anonymity, some people would leave hateful comments towards an actor/actress because they have nothing else to do. Doing this doesn't make you sound cool. It just shows how insecure you are to want to put down others so much. Please be more mature.If you don't like an actor/actress, why would you bother to leave comments like 'I hope it will be her grave as an actress' on the page? If you really have something to say, there is something called constructive criticism (commenting in an objective, rational manner without revealing any bias)Anyway, I love sageuks so I definitely will be watching this drama! Does anyone know the genetic relationship between the King and Ok-nyeo.
